Elites Sports Provisions for Serco
Bisham Abbey is an 800+ year old grade I listed building, which was once home to Henry VIII and is of the highest historical significance. It is now part of one of Sport England’s National Sports Centres used as a prestigious training venue for over 20 different sports and organisations.
Organisations include the English Institute of Sport, England Hockey, WIN Tennis Academy and the England Football and Rugby Associations.
The project comprised several individual elements. An extension to the existing sports centre for a new accommodation block provided 50 en-suite bedrooms, dance studio, restaurant, coffee shop and kitchen facilities together with a new entrance/reception area. Across the site a new sports pavilion provided changing facilities for the existing sports pitches. This section of the works also included the construcion of a new 3G all-weather pitch.
The project was completed within 50 weeks.
