A helping hand over at Stockport Lads Club

Thursday 2nd May 2019 saw our very own Joe Hughes, Tom Mazzitelli and Chris Williams volunteer their services with the Co-op team and assist in hand painting Stockport Lads Club.

This was a fantastic project for Baker Mallett to be involved in as the Co-op have been a long standing client of the business for a number of years now and it was great working alongside them to give something back to the community.

A team of 20 individuals gathered on the day to paint three large areas and with a lot of hard work and team spirit the end result was fantastic and was certainly a huge achievement for all concerned.

Our staff commented:

‘It was a pleasure to help the Co-op team and give a helping hand painting the Stockport Lads Club. It was a big task for us to paint three large areas of the club but as a team of twenty we smashed it. It’s great that these clubs still exist and I’m sure what has been achieved will entice more people to come and use the facilities and give the kids something to do with their spare time. We had lots of fun and laughs throughout the day and the team spirit was such a feel good factor even if I was covered head to toe in paint’.

Further to this Mark Hill of Co-op Property commented:

‘I just wanted to say a big thank you to you all for yesterday, I am immensely proud of us as a team and was an absolute testament to us of what we delivered for such a worthy cause’.

We are so proud to be celebrating our centenary year during 2019 and has great to see members of the Baker Mallett team out in the local community volunteering their services alongside our clients and for various charities.

A huge well done to Joe, Chris and Tom!
