After thirty seven years with Baker Mallett and a career in the construction industry spanning over four decades, we are sad to say that our Managing Partner, Mark Davis has decided to step back and begin winding down his career.
Mark’s contribution to the business during his tenure has been nothing short of outstanding. His professionalism and commitment to his clients and to us has never wavered and we would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank him for his dedication.
We felt it only right that Mark begin his sign off in his own words, so here he is…
“I feel very fortunate to have worked on some fantastic projects during my time in the industry and to have worked with so many incredible people, many of whom have become close friends. In particular, my time spent in the heritage and cultural sector has proven to be the most rewarding years of my professional career and I will truly treasure them.
I never tired of working on these projects, whether they be large or small, considering myself fortunate to have worked on an amazing portfolio of buildings and monuments spanning art galleries, abbeys, castles and churches, clock towers, courts, forts, museums, markets, palaces, stately homes, seats of government, triumphant arches and towers, roman ruins and royal residences – I never managed to work on a cathedral, lighthouse or windmill however, so these looked to have passed me by now!
I will be continuing to work as a Partner for Baker Mallett for a short period to ensure a seamless transition to my colleagues. In the meantime, I would like to send my thanks to all and wish everyone every success in the future”.
