Dock Museum Dry Dock Repairs

The original project was to repair the dry dock walls in which the museum is housed to eliminate water ingress from the adjacent docks.

The key issue of the project was to gain access to the dry dock wall without disturbing the museum displays and repair the joints in the original sandstone structure which was under considerable pressure from the volume of water in the adjacent working docks.

The second project was to reconfigure and repair the existing car park areas and drainage adjacent to the museum, to allow the Borough Council to release land for a new hotel.
