  •  RASW Architectural Award and Civic Trust AABC Conservation Award

Baker Mallett were appointed as Project Manager to deliver education facilities, holiday accommodation, restaurant and visitor attraction space at Cardigan Castle, a Scheduled Ancient Monument and a site containing several Listed Buildings. This project was winner of Channel 4’s Restoration of the Year 2017.

The scheme included restoration of the castle walls and multi stakeholder interface with funding secured from the HLF, CAT, WEFO, CADW and ERDF.

This prestigious project won 3 RICS Wales Awards in the categories of Building Conservation, Tourism and Leisure and Project of the Year.

For it’s innovative design, it was also awarded an RASW Architectural Award and Civic Trust AABC Conservation Award.
