Baker Mallett were appointed by Twycross Zoo to provide management, financial advice and technical advisory services in relation to the Capex Plan for 2019 / 2020 / 2021.

As a valued client of Baker Mallett we have built up a fantastic working relationship with the team at Twycross Zoo. We are delighted to have provided management, financial advice and construction technical advisory services to Twycross Zoo for a number of years in relation to the Capex budget.

The Zoo has a capital budget which is allocated for capitalised projects which range from very small elements of works which range from £1-10k and are generally capitalised facilities management projects, medium sized projects planned projects which range from £10-50k and larger capitalised projects which can be up to £200k in value.

Baker Mallett help prepare the plan, organise and implement the projects and track the financial spend over the course of the year. Baker Mallett have been successful over a number of years achieving the zoo’s physical deliverables and financial objectives.

The more recent projects have included improvement and an extension to the Tortoise enclosure, installation of a new staff welfare and office accommodation, conversion of a Chimp enclosure to accommodate Bonobo’s.
